MAKING PNG'S
We want to learn how to make a PNG, using paint shop pro.
1. Start by finding a picture you want to make a PNG of. A picture is good that you can see almost the whole person. Also the
resolution must be good. Here's Mine:
2. Choose the
Freehand Selection Tool, which looks like this:
, change the settings so that it is
Point to Point:
3. Zoom in on the picture and start by clicking all your way around the person. You can also cut environment. Take your time, try to be carefull. You are alowed to cut the hair or some useless parts of your picture!
As you see in the image below there is a blue line around my picture .. I'm in the middle of cropping !
4. Once you've cropped all around the picture rightclick and the marking will be completed. You can also add or remove some parts to the picture. Press
Ctrl to remove some parts or press
Shift to add some to your PNG.
5. When you are finished with cropping Press Ctrl + C first, then Ctrl + V. The person will now be pasted on a transparent background.
6. Now be sure that you save the picture as a
PNG File. Unless your picture is not transparent.
